Registrar Office

Registrar Office is headed by Mr. Saadat Iqbal, Additional Registrar, COMSATS University, Abbottabad Campus and is fully responsible for smooth conduct of academic activities. Academics Section has been maintaining all type of students’ record (both soft and hard) from the very first day to the completion of degree through locally made software (COMSIS). Main functions are as under:

• Creation of Students’ Registration numbers and semester wise course Registration
• Maintaining complete Bio-Data of students
• Preparation of Semester Schedule
• Inter Campus Migration of students
• Drop and withdrawal of courses as per semester schedule
• Freeze/withdrawal and rejoining of students semester wise
• Students’ Admission and Readmission cases
• Verification of Transcript
• Generation of Quizzes, assignments and sessionals reports
• Documents collection from Students’ through Departments
• Preparation of meeting schedules of DARC, CARC and CMC
• Presentation of data relating to student in each CARC and CMC
• Generation of all Academic Reports
• Checking Eligibility Criteria for admission of every program
• Agenda items for Board of Studies meeting
• Maintaining record of Scheme of Studies of every program
• Coordination among the departments for academic activities
• Coordination with student affairs in order to solve different student problems
