The Electrical/Computer Engineering Department CUI, Abbottabad Campus organized a comprehensive Safety and Emergency Demonstration and Training Program in collaboration with the District Emergency Officer (Rescue 1122) Abbottabad on October 24, 2024. This initiative aimed to enhance students’, faculty and staff members’ preparedness in emergency situations related to safety. The Rescue 1122 team conducted a live demonstration and briefing on firefighting techniques and rescue operations, equipping participants with essential knowledge.

The program was spearheaded by Dr. Irfanullah, Head of the Electrical/Computer Engineering Department, who emphasized the importance of safety awareness. Engr. Sifat Ali Shah and Dr. Jamil Ahmad Khan, Incharge ECE Labs, ensured seamless logistics and coordination.

Participants gained valuable insights and practical skills to respond effectively in emergency situations, fostering a culture of safety within the department.
