Welcome to the Chemistry Department!

[Professor Dr Robina Farooq] Chairperson, Chemistry Department

As the Chairperson, it is my privilege to lead a department that is dedicated to excellence in education, research, and community engagement. Our mission is to inspire and equip the next generation of chemists with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the scientific challenges of our time.

In our department, we believe that chemistry is more than just a subject; it is a way of understanding the world around us.

Our faculty members are passionate educators and researchers who are committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. They bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the classroom and the laboratory, ensuring that our students receive a comprehensive and cutting-edge education.

Our research programs are at the forefront of scientific discovery, addressing critical issues such as sustainable energy, environmental protection, and human health. We are proud of our state-of-the-art facilities, which provide our students and researchers with the tools they need to conduct innovative and impactful research.

We also place strong emphasis on community and collaboration. Our department is a vibrant and supportive community where students, faculty, and staff work together to achieve common goals. We value diversity and believe that different perspectives and experiences enhance our ability to solve complex problems.

I invite you to explore our website and learn more about the exciting opportunities available in our department. Whether you are a prospective student, a current student, a researcher, or a member of the community, we welcome you to join us in our pursuit of scientific excellence.
