The Pakistan Engineering Council’s “Complex Engineering Problem (CEP) event” was held on December 27, 2024, at the COMSATS Abbottabad Campus, organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The event was inaugurated by the Director COMSATS Abbottabad Campus, Merit. Professor Dr. Imtiaz Ali Khan, who also took the opportunity to distribute certificates to the top three shortlisted student projects.
During his address, Professor Khan congratulated the winners and acknowledged the efforts of their mentoring supervisors. He expressed his appreciation for the impressive participation of 113 student projects, which underwent a rigorous evaluation process conducted by faculty committee members.
The CEP student projects are designed to encourage innovative thinking, focusing on developing cost-effective and sustainable solutions to address real-world technological challenges faced by society and industry. This initiative not only fosters creativity among students but also aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application in engineering fields.
