CUI Abbottabad Excels in Huawei ICT Competition 2024!

We are proud to share that two outstanding students from the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, have secured positions among the Top 25 finalists in the Huawei ICT Competition 2024 – National Final Round (Network Track), competing against more than 17,000 participants nationwide!

Faculty Recognition:

Mr. Farman Ullah, Lecturer (CS) and Huawei Certified Instructor, was honored with the Outstanding Instructor Award in recognition of his exceptional mentorship and guidance.

The award ceremony was held on April 10, 2025, at Huawei Pakistan HQ, Islamabad, where the team was accompanied by Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman (HoD CS) and Mr. Farman Ullah. During their visit, the delegation engaged in meaningful discussions with Huawei officials, exploring future collaborations in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and AI initiatives.
