Profile/Bio
He has joined the Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS Abbottabad on Feb, 2008 as an Assistant Professor. Prior to this assignment, he has served the Speciality Flexibles, Southampton, United Kingdom as a Personnel and Production Manager (PPM) from Oct 2005 to Dec 2007. Mr. Shah has remained associated with Sarhad Rural Support Program (SRSP) as a Regional Accountant between May, 2003 to Feb, 2004 and Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan (IDBP) as an Officer between July, 2001 to May 2003.

Mr. Shah is a registered student of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at COMSATS Islamabad and has successfully completed the course work. Mr. Shah has earned a degree of Master of Sciences (M.Sc) in Management & HR from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He has also attained a Certificate in Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom. He has submitted a research project to Higher Education Commission (H.E.C) for a potential funding of Rs. 1.98M as a Co-PI. He has published two research papers in international research journals, one paper is submitted for review and two research papers are under process with the kind guidance of PhD course supervisors.

Mr. Shah has been honored to serve COMSATS in the capacity of Coordinator to Dean, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). He remained committed to the honorary assignment of Manager (Training & Research) at Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) and has arranged several activities to boost the entrepreneurship culture at COMSATS Abbottabad. He was a part of the team that initiated MILES at COMSATS Abbottabad on May 2008. He remained the Convener of Business Plan Competition (BIZCOM) in the year 2008 and 2009. He was the Convener of MILES event in the year 2010. Mr. Shah successfully fulfilled the responsibilities bestowed upon him as a ‘Course Coordinator’ during spring 2008, and Internship Coordinator and Internship Supervisor.

He secured a Merit Scholarship at Quaid-e-Azam University during MBA program. He won Managing Director’s special appreciation on the best performance and a Special Increment in the salary during his services at IDBP Bank. He is currently availing the facility of In-house Scholarship Scheme for PhD program at COMSATS.
