· Received the Best Researcher Award in Electrical
and Computer Engineering Department at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI),
Abbottabad Campus for the Year 2018. I was also awarded with the Research
Productivity Award by Director COMSATS Abbottabad Campus for the years 2017,
2018, and 2019 for distinguished contributions in the research. · Lead the Electrical Engineering Department team to
prepare Self-Assessment Report (SAR) with the result of first ever Outcome Based
Education (OBE) accreditation from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the
three engineering programs (computer, electronics, and power) of electrical
engineering department at CUI Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus. · Initiated and lead the team to shift the labs of
electrical engineering department as per OBE standards at CUonline and prepared
the OBE based course outlines of 4 subjects (Digital System Design, Probability
Methods, and Electronics−I&II). · Received the HEC approved supervisor status. Supervised the
completion of 1 Ph.D. Dissertation, 12 MS Theses, and Supervised 19
undergraduate Final Year Projects (FYP), with two projects lead to IEEE
conference paper publications. Another project received the National Grassroot
Information and Communication Technology Research Initiative (NGIRI) funding of
35000 PKR for the duration of one year from July 2019–July 2020. · Received the prestigious COMSATS Faculty
Development program (FDP) scholarship award for PhD studies in North Dakota State
University, USA from years 2013 – 2015. · Received the prestigious Higher Education Commission
(HEC), Government of Pakistan scholarship award for MS studies in Hanyang
University, South Korea in 2009. Also received the MS Scholarship from Hanyang
University, South Korea from years 2009 – 2011. · Research collaborations have resulted in 50 publications,
which include 23 Impact Factor Journals and 27 International Conference
publications. · Served as the reviewer of top-tier journals,
such as the IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Access, IEEE Transaction on Cloud
Computing, IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IET Image Processing, IET
Biometrics, and IET Computer Vision. Moreover, I am also an active Technical Program
Committee member in IEEE International Conference on Frontiers of Information
Technology (FIT) and IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies
(ICET). |
