Program Description

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is offering Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) program to the prospective students during the Fall and Spring semesters. PharmD is a five years degree program of ten semesters, each semester runs for sixteen weeks. During this time period, students receive rigorous training in theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of pharmacy.

The syllabus has been designed in light of recommendations from HEC and Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. The degree is awarded to students on the successful completion of a minimum 198 credit hours, including clerkship in the clinical setting and a project related to clinical pharmacy practices. Moreover, each student has to complete a six weeks intensive training program in a well known pharmaceutical firm or a teaching hospital.

MoU with Ayub medical Complex Abbottabad

Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad is a renowned Medical College of the area. CUI Abbottabad has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad and thus it will provide clinical pharmacy clerkship and other facilities to the final year students of Pharm.D
