Director COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, Prof.Dr.Muhammad Maroof Shah, Additional Treasurer CUI, Abbottabad Campus Ibrahim Khan and In charge Office Of Development Syed Fida Hussain Shah CUI, Abbottabad Campus met with the Secretary of Workers Welfare Board Khyber Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Irfanullah Wazir on November 7, 2022.

Secretary and Director CUI Abbottabad discussed the matters related to worker’s welfare Board funded students and agreed to resolve issues of pending payments so that students May not face any issues. Director CUI, Abbottabad campus committed to extending maximum facilitation to students. workers welfare Board released 109.75 million to CUI, Abbottabad Campus whereas Rs. 17.00 million to students on account of stipend.

Abbottabad Campus appreciated particularly Secretary Worker Welfare Board Khyber Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Irfanullah Wazir, Director Finance Mr. Tariq Wazir, and Assistant Director Scholarship Mufti Yaqoob. And stressed the need of establishing mechanisms for effective communication between the two organizations in resolving the different issues. Secretary Workers Welfare Board appreciated the kind support of the director of the campus for facilitating WWB-funded students. He highlighted the issues regarding a delay in pending payments as WWF is not getting enough funds from the Ministry of Finance. However, He promised to raise the issue with WWF for the release of funds as per WWB requirements so that pending payments can be released on time. He also agreed with the CUI Abbottabad Campus Director’s demand of effective communication and nominated Assistant Director Scholarship Mr. Mufti Yaqoob as the focal person for CUI Abbottabad.
