Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Distribution 2023 Ceremony was held at COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad campus (CUI) on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

CUI, Abbottabad Campus was privileged to host the prestigious Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2023 Laptop Distribution Ceremony here on Thursday, January 4, 2024, a flagship initiative of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, executed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The event witnessed the distribution of 334 laptops to commendable students, furthering the government’s commitment to promoting digital empowerment and academic excellence among the youth.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Director CUI, Abbottabad Campus Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maroof Shah, who emphasized the significance of technology in education and its role in shaping a progressive and knowledge-based society. The distinguished representatives from different departments and A team of officials from the COMSATS principal seat  Islamabad also attended the ceremony, highlighting the strong partnership between the government and educational institutions in uplifting the nation through education.

The laptops were distributed through the Deputy Registrar Academics, Abbottabad, who serves as the focal person for the PM Laptop Scheme.
