In line with its efforts to preserve and improve the green environment, the COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus organized a tree plantation drive on July 24, 2023, at the Dhamtour campus the Director CUI, Abbottabad Campus Prof. Dr. Muhammad Maroof Shah and Dr Shahida Mansoor, Dean Department of Art & Design, inaugurated the environment-friendly campaign by planting trees. CUI Abbottabad Campus is aware of its social responsibility to contribute to the efforts to overcome the negative impacts of climate change and global warming. Therefore, we took effective measures on a priority basis by planting trees on a large scale on campus. He added that trees play a pivotal role in protection of environment, and it was fundamental duty of every citizen to plant trees.
