A seminar on Creative Seminar on the Evolution and Scope of Animation was organized by AbbottWolf Studios in collaboration with the Coordination Office and the Computer Science Department CUI, Abbottabad Campus was held on 10^th June 2023. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into the world of animation and its significance in various industries.

The seminar commenced promptly at 11:30 a.m. with an introduction by the event coordinator, highlighting the purpose and objectives of the seminar. The New Auditorium, with its spacious seating capacity, was an ideal venue for hosting such an event. The arrangement of seating, stage, and audio-visual equipment ensured a conducive environment for both the speakers and the audience. The lineup of topics and speakers for the seminar was carefully curated to cover different aspects of animation and showcase the expertise of renowned professionals in the field. The seminar topics and speakers were as follows:

Starting Speaker: “Scope of Animation in Freelancing” by Aitzaz Khan, Influencer, CEO at TechKor: Aitzaz Khan, a respected influencer and CEO at TechKor, initiated the seminar by discussing the vast opportunities available in animation freelancing. He shared his experiences and provided valuable insights on how participants could leverage their skills to establish a successful career path in freelancing.

Second Speaker: “Overseas Career Opportunities in Animation” by Wajahat Awan, Founder at DeAxpro: Wajahat Awan, the visionary founder of DeAxpro, took the stage next to inspire the attendees with invaluable insights into global career prospects in animation. He highlighted the potential for international opportunities and shared success stories to motivate participants to explore new avenues for professional growth. Third Speaker: “Animation in the Media & Entertainment Industry” by Dr. Raja Kashif Janjua, Media Consultant, Anchor, and Analyst: Dr. Raja Kashif Janjua, a renowned media consultant, anchor, and analyst, captivated the audience with his in-depth knowledge of animation in the media and entertainment industry. He shed light on the role of animation in shaping the media landscape, emphasizing its relevance in captivating audiences and enhancing storytelling. Fourth Speaker: “The Evolution of Animation” by Prof. Zafar Iqbal, Professor, and HoD at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Prof. Zafar Iqbal, a distinguished professor and Head of the Department at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule, took the participants on an intriguing journey through the remarkable evolution of animation. He showcased how animation has transformed over the years and its impact on various industries, ranging from film and television to advertising and education. Fifth Speaker: “Animation Process & Q&A for Upcoming Course” by Umar Jalal, Animator, Founder at Abbottwolf Studios: Umar Jalal, an accomplished animator and the founder of Abbottwolf Studios, concluded the seminar by guiding participants through the animation process. He shared his expertise, provided practical insights, and addressed the audience’s queries regarding an upcoming course, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the animation field.

The seminar concluded with an engaging ending ceremony, during which the speakers were honored for their valuable contributions. Shields were presented to each speaker by COMSATS University Islamabad Abbottabad Campus as a token of appreciation, recognizing their expertise and dedication to the field of animation. Furthermore, a representative from AbbottWolf Studios expressed gratitude and presented souvenirs to Dr. Mazhar Ali, Head of the Computer Science Department, and Mr. Ibrahim Ahmad, Head of the Coordination Office. This gesture acknowledged their pivotal role in supporting the event and ensuring its successful organization.
