An awareness session initiated under the supervision of Dr. Faridullah HoD, Environmental Sciences. COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus was held on 29, March 2022. Dr. Adnan Ahmed Tahir, Associate Professor, Dr. Akhter Iqbal, Assistant Professor, Dr. Bibi Saima Zeb, Assistant Professor and Dr. Sajid Hussain Shah, Assistant Professor Department of Environmental Sciences, visited the Noor School and College, Mansehra. The aim was to create awareness and community mobilization to combat the environmental challenges near future. Dr. Saima Zeb talked about career selection and highlighted the importance of environmentalists based on treatment technologies to pre-medical and engineering students.

Another faculty team including Dr. Farhan Hafeez, Dr. Nadia Riaz and Dr. Asim Yaqoob also visited Hall Mark College Havelian to discuss various environmental issues awareness to combat these issues. Dr. Farhan Hafeez briefly discussed career prospects of Environmental Sciences. Dr. Nadia threw light about vision of Environmental Sciences and Dr. Asim emphasized on importance of various research technologies and how different fields emerged and merged into Environmental Sciences.
