PhD Candidate to Defend Thesis on Enhancing Salt Tolerance in Tomatoes

Abbottabad, September 2024 – Ms. Gulnaz Bibi, a PhD candidate at COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus , will defend her thesis on Monday, 23rd September 2024, at 2:30 P.M. in the Video Conference Room (Main Library).

Her research, titled “Improving Salt Stress Tolerance in Solanum lycopersicum L. through Manipulation of Cyclic Nucleotide Signaling Pathway,” focuses on developing salt-tolerant tomato plants. The defense, supervised by Dr. Jamshaid Hussain, is open to all, with evaluation by the panel of examiners.
