On September 4, 2023, a comprehensive orientation session was arranged for the newly admitted students in both the undergraduate and graduate programs for the 1st semester  Fall 2023. The event was held in the Main Auditorium, at COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, esteemed dignitaries including all Heads of Academic Departments, Departmental Operating Officers, Graduate Coordinators, and relevant officials from the administration graced the occasion to welcome the new students. Dr Adeel Jalal Malik, Assistant Professor, Department of Development, delivered an informative presentation about CUI, Abbottabad Campus to the students. During the Orientation Session, Ms. Humaira Jamshed, the Deputy Registrar, assumed the role of anchor.

Director, CUI, Abbottabad Campus, Prof. Dr Mohammad Maroof Shah welcomed the new students and provided valuable advice, encouraging them to put in their best efforts to excel in their studies. He emphasized that the orientation day provided an opportunity to enlighten the students about the university rules and regulations and other related matters.

The students were given a detailed presentation on rules and regulations. Charmain CGPC Prof Muhammad Irshad, during his address, highlighted the significant achievements made by CUI Abbottabad Campus in the field of education and research, which was well received by the audience.
