COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus and The Mashmoom (Pvt.) Limited, Hattar District Haripur signed an MoU on October 14, 2021 for joint research collaboration. The visiting team comprised the following:

• Qasid Ahmad, Plant Manager, Mashmoom Private Limited
• Safeer Akhtar, Finance Secretary Hattar Industrial Association
• Malik Sher Afgan, Senior Vice President, Haripur Chamber of Commerce
• Zahid Shah, Executive Member Hattar Industrial Association

Both organizations agreed to promote the following activities based on respective academic and industrial needs with mutual understanding:

• Both organizations will conduct joint research activities for the interest of university and
• Participation in conferences, workshops, and
• Other problem-based research that both university and industry may
• Study tour for undergraduate and graduate
• Joint implementation activities of drug development, profiling, testing, quality assurance,
• The University will assist Mashmoom Private Limited to improve procedures, processes, testing, and composition, etc. of the products. The Company will suggest for students’ research work/Projects under supervision of the concerned faculty(s)

Addressing the forum, Worthy Director, CUI , Abbottabad  Campus Merit Prof. Imtiaz ali Khan stated that CUI, Abbottabad campus  has a team of highly qualified faculty members who are conducting quality research in various fields and are second to none.  The visiting team expressed their gratitude to   CUI, Abbottabad campus for showing keen interest in Academia Industry Linkage. And stated that more MoUs would be signed in future for joint collaboration.
